Funny you should post this. I was up on the roof this evening cleaning out my gutters. Filled up a 5 gallon bucket with those things. Never saw them this bad.

Only a 5 gallon bucket? I probably could fill a trash can with what is on my roof, just from today. When I logged into the forum I thought how funny you should post this. We were on the deck this afternoon noticing how many of those damn helicopters there were.
And the weeping willow in my back yard seems to be extremely full of leaves, which won't fall till about November. We still are finding the leaves from last year.

Good to know I'm not the only one irritated by the helicopters.

I hate them on the driveway, they get smushed under the tires and feet and make a mess. They also end up in the garage. Our garage is attached, 90* into the garage at the end of the driveway, but we also have a 20' shed at the end of the driveway. the wind swirls around between the shed and garage and everything ends up in the garage.

Gary, your thistle seeds are on the way ,just spread them anywhere . They are extremely drought tolerant ,and I believe they will even grow in concrete.

My MIL was telling me yesterday that she used to go picking thistle with her friend, and they would eat them...with salt/pepper and vinegar.
