Default Foundation Work Begins

Been working 14 hour days at the beach house for my wife, and you think owning a beach house is fun. Had to tear off the laundary room since it was built on top of an old rotten back porch and moved plants and took off the lower siding to expose the floor joists to make sure we had no dry rot. The only dry rot we have is in the lower out side boards. The foundation work begins tomorrow a week early by the contractor. The house is out of level by 6 inches because the cinder block foundation is sinking (it has no footing under it) Once the foundation is in then new windows, doors, siding and a roof. I have to do most of the work myself to be able afford this project. The house was given to my wife by her grandparents 5 years ago. Hopefully I can find some time to still work on the car. Going back to work tomorrow to get some rest. Here's a few pictures. Have a great week everyone.
