Hi there. I must say that I don't own a Chevelle, however, I am elbow deep in a car that belongs to a client of mine which is a 70 Chevelle SS 396. I am a MOPAR guy, have three old ones, plus a new Challenger and Charger RT. However, I have a Chevy Avalanche I bought new in Dec 02 and this is the best vehicle I've ever owned! It has 160K on it and still going strong; that LS engine is awesome, the tranny is another story though. I am strongly considering buying a new Camaro SS as they are cheaper than the equivalent Challenger, and have more HP, rather on par HP with the SRT-8 models.

So, I'd like to share with you all, and glean information about your Chevelle's and experiences in rebuilding/restomodding it, or even a full on restoration.

I'll be posting a thread of this car, in progress as it came to me, to where it is now, and of course to completion of my contract. Is there any particular forum I should place this in?
