Default Some good news

Our daughter Susan was accepted into the Nurse Anesthesiology program at USC. The program is not offered at very many schools and they only accept a limited number each year, 16 in the case of USC. She starts this fall so if all goes well she'll have a Masters of Science degree and be a Nurse Anesthetist.

As I said these programs are not easy to get into. First an application, if that passes muster then a personal interview. So you can she why we're just a little bit proud of her. She was working in the ER at UCLA medical center but transferred to the CTICU, that's the ICU heart and lung transplant patients go to after surgery, to gain the experience needed for the anesthesiology program.

Oh, almost forgot. Last month Susan took care of the first hand transplant patient at UCLA medical center. The CTICU was best qualified to take care of her following surgery. Only the 13th hand transplant performed in the U.S.

Okay, I'll stop boring you. Just wanted to share some good news and say how proud we our of our little girl.
