Default drum vs disc

for the rear! i am looking up the parts for to rebuild my drum brakes and man stuff is pricey! but here is what i was looking at

looking at $224

and being that my chevelle came with 12 bolt with a c clip elim i am not having many options as for rear disc but i did talk to someone at wilwood and this is the kit they told me to get

$557

which would you do? get the drum rebuilt at half the cost and do the disc conversion when its time to replace the brakes or just stick with the drums forever, or just get the disc and call it a day?
