I'm going through this right now too... We're in the process of getting stuff ready to move, and putting anything we don't need into storage.
I've kept a lot of crap that might have value to someone... now I'm just throwing out anything that doesn't have value to ME, or isn't worth the effort to sell. I've thrown out quite a bit, and need to throw out a lot more.
