A few of you know I have a hotrod shop and my shop truck is a very faithful '79 Ford 4x4 named Alice. Lately, I have run into total strangers that know the truck. Apparently, with all she gets around, she's developed a sort of "fanbase" (for want of a better term) So I decided to put up her own Facebook page so everyone can keep up with her.

I recently got back from a 1,000+ mile trip with her where she hauled a 360 AMC engine, an engine hoist and a set of ramps in the bed, and pulling a trailer with an AMC Eagle station wagon loaded down with parts.

This doesn't sound very fantastic until you realize a bad fuel pump wiped out all the bearings in the bottom end about 8 months ago and she keeps chugging along with 2 quarts of Lucas and 5 quarts of 20W50 in the crank case. This truck has never let me down and has been my faithful side kick for two years now.
