Default Double-nutting the suspension...

I saved all of the factory nuts and bolts off of my spare chassis. Going to try an old racer's trick on my 72'. I'll be loosening up on all of the control arms and double-nutting them to help them move freer and be in less of a bind. Has anyone else ever seen this done before? What were the results? The Pure Stock and F.A.S.T. guys I have talked to swear it will help.
