Default Is this considered a frame-off restoration?

Decided I couldn't put it off any longer so started the remodel of the shower. Just a small stall shower in the master bath. Previous owners had it sprayed at one point but that was starting to peel off, especially the base. Lynda said just put in a liner it will be cheaper and easier than new tile. True but all the hard work is removing the old tile. Once that's done I might as well do it right and put in real tile.

Like I said, removing the old stuff is the hard part. Sheet rock, metal lath, mortar and tile. Altogether close to 1.5" thick. A 3 lb sledge just bounces off the first few blows then eventually it starts to crack. I've done 2 walls and part of the 3rd. Already hauled a few hundred pounds of busted tile and mortar out. Can't wait until I have to start busting out the base. That should really be fun.
