Default What a day

Saturday was a miserable day, rain, temps in the 40's and strong wind gusts. I figured I could get the kick panels, e-brake and fuse block back in the car then my uncle called.

They lost power at his place, no idea when it was coming back and his sump was filling with water. He was in a panic thinking it would back up and flood his basement. So my son and I hoisted the generator into the pickup and strapped it down, in the driving rain. Drive 50 miles to his house, in the driving rain and get his sump and frig's going.

30 minutes later the power comes on! Wouldn't you know it. Pick up all the extension cords and put the generator back in the truck. We sat down and had a few beers then he took us out to dinner. At least we had nice visit and a good dinner.
