The state appointed a financial manager to run the Detroit Public Schools because they're broke. He has uncovered so much corruption I can't even remember all of it.

I hate to sound racist but the people in Detroit get into some type of government position and think they're above the law and entitled to anything they can grab. It's embarrassing to be associated with that city in any way.

I used to work somewhere that Kim Worthy, the city of Detroit DA, used to come into once a week during the actual trial. She was a very "cold" person to wait on, but don't dare make a comment or ask a question about the case, the temperature would drop 20 degrees. After the trial was over she continued to come in and was a totally different person. And when you asked her about the trial, she would just shake her head in discust.

Someone needs to grow some balls in Detroit, and get us out of this hole.

Hopefully Bing can get something good going. He does have some good ideas, they may not be real popular with some residents but that city needs a major shakeup. He is a business man and he has money so hopefully all his intentions are for the good of the city and not himself.

I for one think Bing is doing a good job, he is not a politican and needs no money and does not owe the political machine anything. The unions hate him, the other politicans hate him the takers that want the goverment to do everything for them hate him.....he must be doing something right.
