I was told they were both the same.Since they were the wrong length to begin with and I have to buy new ones I may as well have the proper letter on the dam things.

They're both the same? You mean for an auto or manual trans, same bolts? Ask Brian Henderson to check his if he can. Pretty sure his car was all original when he bought it. Hopefully he used or saved the bolts when he put in a 700R4.
