Got the yard pretty much caught up. Top iis laying there and is forming to the roof nicely as time goes by. I got everything out from under it now. So I can roll it back and scrub underneath. Now that its paint is done I cleaning the garage real good get the dust and overspray out of it. Try to keep the dust on the car down to a dull roar.
I got the wheel well trim on the bench right now. I thinking of going and putting it on. I know SS's didn't have it. But it is only a lowely Malibu clone LOL. I got to measure my buddies 71 and see if the rockers are the same. I really thinking of putting the trim down there to. Good thing it isn't a real SS I be killing its value with all the mods I am doing. Oh wait that is why I sold the SS. I wanted choices.

I still gardening alot. But I had a electric heater in the chevelle in the times I am working. Get it good and warm. Got the top laying on it. Wrinkles are slowly coming out and it is molding to the shape of the top. I reckon that will make it easier to put on when I get to it.

Car is loaded and headed to a car show south of me today. Looks like a break in the weather for a day.

Rain turned me around this morning. Didn't want to put tire spray all over the Chevelle on the way down. Now it's sunny here this afternoon. Heard it hailed down south this morning also.

Got a first today. Took best of show at a Mopar sponsored car show. Show raised over 4k for the kids at the high school. I went to support the kids, the award was a total surprise.
