Finished assembling the new baby big block for my '67 and it's ready to drop in.
Guess I'd better get going on the install of the Vintage A/C system now...

Windage tray studs arrived today, swapped those out and got the pan fitting nicely. Grabbed my gaskets and got the oil pan and timing cover on. Damnit if I didn't snap off one of the small bolts in the front corner that ties the pan and timing cover together. I walked away from it and came in for some dinner.

It should be easy to fix, being that the engine is still on a stand where I can see/reach everything. Just frustrating to make such a dumb mistake.

Bah, you are a step ahead of me. My cam showed up today and the Intake, Lifters & Water Pump (last 3 items will be here tomorrow). Hope to get this thing going back together next week!

Edit: Hope to get this thing started next week.....

Ugggh !!!

Went into the garage today and noticed a small spot of trans fluid under the car (yes I always look under the car). I think I know where it is coming from but won't be able to do anything about it til work eases up at my brothers shop, and that won't be for a month or two. damn !

We worked on everything but the Chevelle or El Camino after work today. We got my pressure washer running and put away and got the emergency generator running just in case the power goes out this winter .The boys had homework so we had to send them home early.

I haven't done anything for a while, but the one thing my Chevelle did for me today was make me smile after being gone all week.Three important things to see first,my dog,my car and then the wife all in that order.
