Short story of who I am. 41 year old truckdriver. Married with 3 kids. Beside my family, I love american cars. Firs off was a 1968 Mustang when I was 20. Then we had a Roadrunner 1970 a few years and when we got our first kid we never thought we could afford a hobbycar again. But we did! Tryed some other Fords, a Fairlane 500XL 1967 and a Galaxie 500 1966. Then we got our first GM car (if you dont count a Isuzu pickup or a Opel Rekord...). A Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 1970. We imported the car from Florida 2007. Got the car from a seller that sold it from the second owner who bought the car 1973 and had it to 2007.
We had some ideas how we wanted the car to be. More muscle attitude. It dont have to be a winner at the dragstrip but a nice rumble and a muscle look. I think we are getting there

The Chevelle is a 307 / Powerglide, no power assist, bench seat-car. We still run the 307 but it is a bit hotter now. We go with a TH350 and Flowmaster exhaust.
After 4 years I still think it is a keeper. The car and I is built/born the same week. The Chevelle is built first week 1970 and Im born the last week 1969. A look in the historic calendar says its the same week!
