Check to see if your insurance covers it if something should happen while it is stored away from home. Most full coverages probably do but it doesn't hurt to ask if the storage place is insured for loss as well.
I'm not to up on it but I would not want any surprises if something were to happen.

Find someone local that you trust that has a car trailer. I've stored a few Chevelles in my Haulmark 24' enclosed trailer in previous years during the winter months just to get it out of my way.
It's like having an extra garage...
