I'm a 1 percenter!

Carpoor, at one time I was one of those "people" who collected from the government. I had recently divorced and had small children and didn't know how I was going to survive.
BUT..unlike many, many other people I worked my butt off to get a job, because I did not want to report everything I did to the government. It didn't take me long till I was back to paying my own way and paying taxes. I believe that the welfare rolls were ment to help people, not to support them for a lifetime. I saw so many people who knew how to play the welfare game, and saw so many people that needed it but were refused.
I had my first job at 14, delivering newspapers, and continue to work today. I have had 6 children and was back to work quickly after each one. I have always been a work-a-holic, just ask grumpy, and I believe that my short time getting help from the government, made me realize how much I didn't want to live that way.
