I wanted to have certain things done when I began to wire the car. I THOUGHT today was day I was going to get started. Well, that didn't work out. I got all the inner fender extensions in and the headlight buckets. I figure all the electrical components should be in the car when I wire it, so I keep bolting more stuff to the car and keep running out of time at the end of the day to get started on the actual harness.

Anyway, today I actually got the harness out of the box and intended to mount it in the car, but I discovered I needed to fabricate a mounting bracket for it. (non-stock unit)

So here's what happened today.

I got the headlight buckets mounted.

I got the inner fender extensions in.

I got the battery tray mounted.

...and the battery where it belongs.

And finally, I got the alternator cleaned, painted, and installed with a new belt.

I'm so close, I can taste it!
