In addition...
It's possible the wiper switch isn't bad...just lost it's ground. There is a star washer on that switch that grounds it against the inside surface of the dash. It needs a clean, tight connection. I'd try loosening, wiggle it around and then re-tightening the wiper switch first.

Thanks a lot. I guess he was right when he said there was no way to get at it.
I'd told him I had no problem replacing the one in my 442. |
