President Franklin D. Roosevelt to proclaim December 7, 1941, "a date which will live in infamy". Let us not forget the 2400 lives lost this day at Pearl Harbor attack.

My dad worked hard in the ship yards to get the fleet, or what was left of it back into fighting condition. He would tell a lot of stories of the couragous people who worked together for a great cause, our freedom. Thanks to all.

Ray, I could listen for hours to those Vets talk about back then. I have many uncles that were in the war. They had some great, and some not so great, stories.

My father and both of his brothers fought the Japanese in the Philippines during WWII. They were all 3 there at the same time. We went to Pearl Harbor when we were in HI. I'll tell you, being there, seeing the memorials, it really hits you. I wasn't alive when it happened but it really hits you being there.

I have so much respect for the men and woman who served our country. I often stop and talk to people who have some type of military patches. It is amazing the stories they tell.
