The gauges come out rather easy, but the dash frame is welded to the firewall. If you want to remove it, you have to drill out a lot of spot welds.
Before you drop steering wheel, if you have an automatic, disconnect small cable that operates PRNDL or you managed to screw up it up.

Reaching out to all of the members here... if you happen accross a 69' that is picked over and just good for "parts." Please keep me in mind, I would like to try and procure a dash, or a piece of it for a patch panel. The passenger side of my metal dash is rough, particularly around the vent and glove box door hinge.
