Do you think you will make it this year? I know I won't be able to swing the June race. Possibly the September event.

For sure, I had a great time and hopefully can get some of these Michigan guys /girls out to it. I might even be brave enough to bring the Camaro out, the only thing I need to do is change the tires and put the stock air cleaner and valve covers on and I should be ready to go per the rule book that I have looked at.

Hey Beckman... you've got less than two months left before the Martin race. (June 13th & 14th) Has it thawed out enough for you to get anything done on the car?

It has been thawed out and the last of the snow is gone and hit 80 yesterday. As for Martin I will be out of the country for 2 weeks during that time.

Looks like I am out too. Was hoping to make it as a spectator, but I am too tied up with school and work. Plus with the pay cut I took, things are tight.

I am really trying to find a way to get up there for the fall Martin race. I got confirmation of a new "purpose built" car being added to the fray. Would love to see it make some passes in person.

Hemmings had a shoot out Thursday for an upcoming article. A few people are already reporting new bests.
