Doesn't make a difference if its crate or not. The oil dripping (I assume its by the breather on the cover) sounds like the PCV valve you have on there now isn't working like it should.

Here in the Motor City by next weekend it'll be almost 60°.........crazy weather.

Oh no, I meant the oil is dripping off the body of the pcv valve when i pulled it. The breather on the other valve cover has a new filter, no blockage. Thats the issue i think, so much suction that its pulling any drop of oil that gets close.

Glad to hear you're getting this good weather. I have a feeling we'll be paying for it soon enough.
