I heard that New York is going to set a record for warmest Christmas ever. We are expecting another 3" of rain by Friday. Should break the record for wettest December ever. We are 8" above normal for rain fall and are on Land slide alerts around here. Hill sides are just becoming mud slurries. Not a very Merry Christmas for a lot of folks around here.

I'm here in Phoenix and it was 38° this morning then it got up to 70° how do you dress for that

That is normal stuff here half the year. Jeans a t-shirt and a light coat/windbreaker type. Coat comes off and carried around 11 till you get somewhere to put it.
