Feel for you guys. Our temps have stayed in the 50's even at night. So far winter seems to have passed. We can get snow in March. Flowers are starting to bloom. Mountains have lots of snow so our drought is gone.

It is miserable cold and we getting pounded with snow. Livin it up. I shoveled a good 5 inches and I got to do it again. Because I got to go get mommy from work.

I sea foamed the durango today. Then changed the oil In the 15 degree weather because I knew this was coming,

Long story short. I got the truck from my brother. He used jiffy lube. Had a signature on the oil filter a mileage and a date when I did the first oil change. Well it had the same filter for 5 years and 50 thousand miles. fast forward 4 years. I been keeping the oil changed religiously with synthetic.

Well the sludge and coked oil all was coming off last summer when I changed the valve cover gasket. I cut this filter apart and it was completely clogged. I still had 2000 miles left till it was due a oil change.

Anyway I sea foamed it for 30 minutes drained and put clean oil. That was the blackest nastiest smelling oil I ever saw. So far so good it had pressure all day when I tried it. 100 more miles and another change.

I don't see how she survived so far she been a trooper. But if it her time so be it. untill then drive the wheels off and keep her clean as I can.

I ain't afraid to put a merc in her to. I like em alot.

Last night when we went to bed it was 2° and windy. During the night it got a lot colder. One of the very few nights I have worn a t shirt to bed.

Snow wise we have dodged the bullet this winter. I think total amount so far here is less than 5".
