Yes my brother has one in his charger he says it is the bomb.
I been cutting carpet for the trunk. I got charcoal grey for in there. Just something I wanted to do since I was a kid. Everybody did it back then. I made loops of nylon rope and epoxy it into place. Both n the car and on the carpet. Easy to sand off if I ever want to. Then I am going to paint it the speckled paint. Zip tie it is so it is easy to remove if i need to for any reason. I know it isnt everyones thing. I like it. Wife ask if i was doing anything to the trunk it looked nasty. And that was all it took for me to go down memory lane. ![]()

I am going to do something similar to my 68. I plan on buying one of those pre made wood kits for the trunk and covering it with either carpet or vinyl. I feel that if I didn't - it would take away from all the other stuff I am doing... LS swap, tubular suspension, big brakes, etc.
Seeing your progress reminds me that I really need to get back to wet sanding and buffing my 72.
