I agree with you on the clutch fork being forward. That is why I paid special attention to getting the throw out bearing in correctly and rechecking the clutch fork ball stud. I have tried to find pics of other Chevelles and to date have not found any. Hopefully someone will let me know about the clutch fork. Thanks a lot for your help Hank.

Maybe I can get a pic of mine this weekend. The rod on mine is adjusted out all most to the end. Could be you have a tall/long throwout bearing and need a short one. What kind of clutch setup do you have.
