My car is all back together, so I don't have any pictures. I assembled that part of the car several years ago. The best way I can explain it, if you are sitting on the pass side floor board looking towards where the glove box door would be. In that upper right hand corner of the cowl is where that piece should go. I'll see if I have an assembly manual. If anyone has one for a 68'-72' car, it should be similar enough for you to see an exploded view of said part/area.

I got it figured out. It mounts in the area you spoke of just on the outside of the winshield. I was thinking inside is why I couldnt figure it out. Thanks

Was able to get the headers in with no big problems. Just about got everything I was hoping to have done before I return it to the body shop this Saturday for paint.

Thanks Flash!
Heres some pictures of tonights progress. Installed the new style A/C compressor, front swaybar, and worked on the universal shiftrod from shiftworks that Im using to shift the TH350. Really coming along, Im just hoping to make sure my body man is gonna keep a similar pace.

He certainly is hard working, just spreads himself to thin. Thanks again.

Well it's now back at the bodyshop and we are planning on getting together there next Saturday to install and align the doors, then fenders etc.
The Jeep steering box swap went very smooth. I ordered the ragjoint and the little parts you instsall in the box for the stock lines to work with from Lee manf. The stock lines on my 72 didnt quite look/run to good. The bend were it conects to the box was funky. I purchased a new high pressure line for a 68 and it has a nice 90 degree bend at the steer box. The low pressure was much closer and could be bent to work. Now the lines coming out of the box are much neater and look factory to me. Take a look in the photos.
Thank you to those that have taken the time to comment. Theres been MANY hours in my shop working on this car by myself. Not many people have a clue as to how many hours it takes to do even the simple things on these cars. Including myself!
