Been so busy the past week, finally made the call today. Weather permitting...Wednesday she goes into storage. Happy and sad at the same time.

Got the air conditioning harness made. Looks factory. Of course I used all factory parts. Bench tested it and works like a charm. My blower motor wire is purple instead of blue like it should be. But i am over it. Same plug end on it. Worn out plug end and right color wire or perfect wire and end. Hummmm let me think. I used a 69-78 blower resistor and plug. Much easier to get. Just wired 3 speeds like factory and left the one that runs all the time off. Off and 3 speeds instead of on all the time and 3 faster speeds like newer ones.

I got the wiring for the 68 now which seemed to be lacking anywhere on the net. It is the same as a 68 camaro as far as wire colors. One switch is in a different place. And the chevelle has a thermal overload inline on the compressor clutch wiring were the only real differences to speak of. And camaro has a extra power feed wire that isn't on the chevelle.

Now messing with the evaporator box cleaning and readying for paint.

New relay and blower motor the other day.

Put my car into storage on Wednesday. Every year I take pics before it goes into a climate controlled storage, here are a few of those pics. I won't be seeing her for about 6 months....

Thanks, and it is. That is why we are still looking at houses down south. The colder weather is taking its toll on grumpy. Today is one of those days for him.

I got most everything back together and ironed out on my 72' today. With a little luck, I'll start it and break in the cam Saturday morning. Then it will have to sit again while I do an engine/transmission swap in my DD the following week. I'm hoping I have enough good weather left to fix the paint and get the front clip back on before the end of this year.
