Boy youve been busy ,it looks good . I wish I had your patience and talent for metal work . Right Stuff Detailing is a great company to do business with .I dont know if you dealt with them direct or thu a vendor but if youre ever in their part of Ohio you should stop in for a tour of their facility. The owner has several nice camaros stacked up on lifts on one side of his building.

Weekend of Febuary 26-27, 2011. I was able to get the second coat of primer on the doors. Sprayed some guide coat on them and put them in a safe location till I,m ready to get them to the painter. Also got the bottom of the rear trunk lid in a coat of primer. As well as the rear valance panel.
Then broke down the front clip. Looks like I will need a left fender and a right inner fender & bottom repair piece as well as a battery tray. The rad support is border line, but a light sandblast and some welded patchs and it should be just fine. I will also need a new grille and radiator shroud. The hood was new before the repaint before I bought the car so I just had to sand off the black SS stripes. About a six hour job with my weak comperssor.
Going to start working on the body shell next weekend. I scared my drip rail frames look a bit scailey. Hopefully can get those and the roof panel media blasted. Enjoy the pictures!

As luck would have it. I got a call from the carb shop that is rebuilding my donor Holley carb. It was ready. It looks great. I had a aircleaner kicking around that fit. It will need the connectors for the throttle and kick down. Not sure how that works. Anyone got a pictures?

Weekend of march 5-6 2011 I picked up the motor parts from the machine shop Friday. It took most of Saturday to get the short block together. Sunday installed the Heads, Cam, Timing chain and Primed and Painted the motor. Did it in the stock 72 Chevy Red. Good news is that it looks like all the motor parts are made in the USA! Going to shoot for getting the roof media blasted next weekend.
