Car has it's original color, but originally came with black interior. My first car I started was shadowgray but had the white. I think the white give it the wow factor over the black. I would not let this car go for less then 40k for all the work and time I have invested in this car. This is 6 1/2 years of waiting, looking for original parts and who knows how many hours I have invested in this car. Thanks for your kind words. It will be in it first car show on Saturday.

Whenever your ready to sell let me know, I really want to own a shadow gray 70 and still keep the 69. Then I could have my own mini collection.

I hope you have good luck and take home a big trophy!

Ray - I don't know how you could even think of parting with it after all the time, effort, & money you have poured into that car. I've had a few shady people inquire about my 72' even though it isn't advertised. (I'm sure they were thinking $10K would buy it.) And I replied with, "Sure. $100,000.00" Basically my way of telling them it isn't for sale. Though... I am pretty sure I'd part with it for $100,000.00 if someone was damn fool enough to pay it.

Most of my parts from The Parts Place and Ground Up have arrived the past two days. Haven't had any time to work on the car lately due to the weather and my work schedule. Maybe Sunday?

This car is going no where. When I'm to old for it my son will get the car, hoping he will want to keep it long after I'm gone.

I wouldn't want it any other way if I were in your shoes. I am 33, no kids. Kind of worried about what I will do with my beloved car when my end is near.

If I had no kids, my car would go to the friend/family that has enjoyed the car with me. The person who was always willing to help, not because they expected anything out of it but because they really enjoyed it.

Installed a 71/72 fan shroud and another brand new fan clutch (fighting an overheating issue after prolonged periods of sitting)

I took mine on a little cruise around last night. Drove so nice (except for the slipping 2nd gear.....but I will ignore that). Then I got home and let it sit for about 10 minutes and it started overheating. Still haven't solved that problem.

Actually, if things go as planned, I might have to leave work early just so I can get home and take the car out for another cruise!
