Default Weekend damage report?

Well, I don't see any bad news this weekend from you guys here. I hope that means everyone had a decent week-end. No broken bodies, no hospital trips, things are looking up!

I'm good...actually got to work around the house today and got some of the Christmas lights up. I learned from Hank....stay off the ladder so everything is eye level this year.

I spent the day helping my brother with his "new" house. New meaning that he just purchased it about a month ago. This house was abandonded by people who were not happy. Needless to say, there were no kitchen cabinets, the bathroom was extremely nasty and the rest of the house needs extreme cleaning.

We, my mom and I, have spent many days cleaning windows, washing walls and just trying to clean up as much as we can. Today we were hoping was going to be a painting day, or at least primer on the walls in one bedroom and the kitchen. I don't know what the past owners did to the walls, but, even with us scrubbing the walls with scrubbies, we were still having problems with the primer on certain sections of the walls. Spent 8 hours and finally got the bedroom almost done, and the kitchen ceiling done. Time to rest, cause we will be back on Tuesday morning.

I just laid them on the grass this year. They look nice now, not sure what they'll look like covered with a foot of snow.

Didn't do anything dangerous and didn't break anything. Made new seat bottom and back and covered them for the lawn tractor. Skid plates on bottom of snow blower were worn away so welded some flat stock in place. Mounted the snow blower on the tractor and tried to get things adjusted. Belt that came with it is to short and the PTO pulley walks over and engages the clutch when the engine is running. Even though the clutch is disengaged. I'll sort that out later this week and we should have a nice tractor and snow blower for the winter.

Spent most of the weekend working on the house. Could not believe how nice this weekend weather was. I was on a ladder a lot. Had to paint overhangs and put up siding before winter rains get here.
