Default How goes it

Hey folks my name is Jeff and I just started the long term project of a 72 Chevelle. It needs everything basically but I wanted to start from the frame up. I grew tired of previous owner headaches that make you chase your tail all day. Hope to read and see some interesting stuff here. Have a great day.

The outside appears decent, but the floors look like they need help. Please tell us more about the car and your plans for it. And more pictures, we like pictures.

Thanks everyone. I owned a 71 Chevelle years ago that I loved but you know what they say about hindsight lol. I found this one locally it needs trunk, floors and so forth the frames is solid just a bit scaley and the rockers are decent the quarters are cooked. I bought it as a roller no drivetrain so thats wide open. I plan on doing all the body and floor work then roll the frame out and detail it before even considering the drivetrain. I am going to do it to the last bolt not resto style but just the way i like it. I don't have enough patience to do a full correct resto, I love to see them I just could never be that correct lol. I sold my Aspen wagon sleeper and picked this up shes a lot of work but i can do all of it so its just time labor and money....a long term project lol. When I get a few days off I will take some more pictures for you to look at i may some here I will check , Thanks for the welcome! These were the other day I took some of the rust on the floors and then of the dash after I yanked it out.

I guess it is better knowing what work you have to do, that way you can do what you want to do. And do it the way you want to do it. I look forward to watching the progress.

That's going to be a project. Good luck with it. If you can do the work then it will be worth the effort. Keep us posted on your progress.
