Got a set of headlight buckets and the rings that hold the headlights in today. Been sanding again. Will it ever be over.

It lives! Got the cam broken in, then I had a brain fart... barely leaned against the core support, fan nicked my expensive radiator.

Didn't get it too bad, but enough to spring a pin hole leak. And, I seem to have a couple of small pinhole leaks in the oil pan. It never ends...

Sorry to hear that, but glad you got the cam broke in.

Dropped off the radiator today for repairs, it's going to be an $85-$125 mistake.

And $152.25 it is... just got back from picking up my radiator. What a dumb and costly mistake. I'm going to buy five new tires for it next week. Time to get serious about finishing up this car and driving it.

Put the chrome on the tail corners. Put the drivers side corner on. That half of the car is buffed. Spent the rest of the day washing it getting the compound off of every nook and cranny. I don't want to start buffing till I got a long run of time. Because it is so messy and cleanup takes so long.

It was $125... the additional $27.25 is sales tax and materials. It was very hard to find anyone willing to repair it. It has become a lost art, most places just want to sell you a new radiator.
