I worked at the speed shop today, helping strap & unstrap cars for a dyno day.

As the very last car, I pulled the Chevelle onto the rollers....

Car made its highest #s to-date, 554.18hp, 560.80tq!!
All that still through a 4L80, solid mounted flex-a-lite fan, mechanical fuel & water pumps, A/C & Power steering!

Worked on the Chevelle today. Retorque the frontend and put in all the cotter pins in all the castle end. Adjusted the head lights tonight and check why my temp gauge is not working correctly. Looks like it starts at 250 and goes past the end. Wonder if it got put back together incorrectly. Not going to pull the gauges until this fall now.

Also looked at a set of 15x8 rallys wheels with the short caps for the Chevelle today as a extra set.

You sure it is not grounding out?

Pulled the wire off and it should go to cold, it doesn't stays around 250, touched it to ground and it spins way past the end to the bottom middle of the gauge. So it seems to work not in the correct area it should. It makes me mad since all my gauges were worked on before I put them in.

Brought home project #2 today. Well, didn't bring it home but brought it to the speedshop and dropped it off.

I'll post some photos in a different thread so as not to pollute the "chevelle" thread. At least it is still a chevy!
