today i made some custom fuel lines, i am very proud of how it came out. I do however have to change the inlet from the fuel line to the carb because they gave me the wrong fittings

i also made a line to go from the fuel pump to the fuel line and next week i will make the hard line AN fittings and run the line from the hard line to the fuel pump

Since i can't figure out what fan setup i want my buddy had a fan for sale so i took it home to see if it will fit and if it works and i was happy to see the results

operation road worthy is still set for aug of this year! lets see if i can do it

Days like today make me feel like I am spinning my wheels. I am diligently trying to figure out where every bolt, nut, washer, clip, etc. goes. I also keep digging through boxes of new parts, only to find that some have been misplaced. (or grown legs) Starter wires are hooked up. Dipstick is installed. Flywheel dust cover is installed. I also spent some time working on my father's truck today.

I'm kind of beat, but considering washing up the Monte in about an hour and heading to a car show. I work the next four days, Sun. - Wed., might not have much time to relax during the week.

Ordered a T56 Magnum (and all the other stuff to go along with it - McLeod clutch, hydraulic throw-out, etc.) for mine today.... Finally time for a third pedal!!!

I guess the 4L80 will go into the vette. I am planning an LS3 swap for that car right now! I have to make sure I keep one of them driving through the cruise season....

The weather sucked most of today, however it is great now. (go figure) That said, I didn't get much done. I picked a spot and stuck that pesky clip on the oil pan rail. Cannot find it in any assembly manuals, but it looks factory and keeps the cable tucked up nice. I also got around to pulling the passenger side valve cover and redoing it. Still need to do the same to the driver's side cover. They are originals, and had some pitting that stuck out like a sore thumb once painted. Today I started by sanding it with 500 dry paper, then gave it a heavy coat of filler primer. Then blocked it with multiple grits before giving it a coat of Chevy Orange.

I swear I will finish this car by the end of the year.

After seeing all that everyone has accomplished in the past week. Wow..do I feel lazy. I have been so caught up in personal stuff that I haven't even thought about my car.
