Are you sure it's the pinion seal and not just leaking from the yoke splines? You're supposed to use a little RTV on the splines during assembly.

I drove mine to pick up my son at his friends house yesterday and the dad loved it.

Ray - find some AT-205 and add it to anything that has oil. It is truly miracle in a bottle.

Today... I cleaned, repainted, and installed the radiator. Installed the thermostat and housing. Installed the upper and lower radiator hoses. I think the upper hose is going to need to be trimmed to fit properly. (look at the pictures, you'll see what I mean) Installed the valve cover to air cleaner elbow in the passenger side valve cover. (aftermarket elbow + factory valve cover = a lot of four letter words to get it installed) Installed the shifter handle, but didn't reassemble the rest of the console yet. Installed a new throttle cable too. Then I made a list, and proceeded to spend $200 in about 30 minutes, between three different vendors.

I expected to get more done, but spent a lot of time looking for things and cleaning parts. I took the distributor and parts home with me today, going to try and get that all put together in my spare time.

Anyhow, pictures of how the car sits as of 2pm today...
