Ray it is so hard to hear what you are going thru and I can't even imagine it. I pray that you will be getting some of the rain that we are getting here.

The national guard is being called to help now. Over 29000 fire fighters out there in 3 western states. 3 were killed in Washington yesterday. Cooler today, but back in the 90's for the weekend.

Smoke from all the fires in Washington and Oregon yesterday made it hard to breathe and burned your eyes. We looked like LA here

Are those fires under control yet guys ?

I feel bad saying that we have had some nice cool weather in the low 70's here.

Biggest fire is only 10% contained. It has burned 250,000 acres. Largest fire in Washington history. Oregon still has 4 fires going across the state. We are expecting some rain on Saturday but won't get to the east side where they really need it. It will be in the 70's starting the weekend. Been in the high 80's this week.

Ray I wish that the weather off of the coast of Florida was coming your way. At least all the rain.

Sounds like we might get 1 to 2" of rain this weekend finally. The area that needs it the most is where the 2" is going to fall. East side of the state still might not see much rain, but will be cooler for the fire fighters. Crews from New Zealand and Australia are here now to help. Almost 500 square miles has burned in Washington state. Haven't heard how much in Oregon yet.

We been having a dry spell here a while. I pulled out to take the wife to work. All the yellow leaves from the girls poisoning my trees were on the ground and in the drive. We were commenting it looked windy.

Well it was dark over the hills. We were driving along and Bam it came down like cats and dogs. there was 3 inches in the road running within a mile.

Came home and it said it rained 2 inches in the 30 minutes i was gone. Pretty good lightning show to.

I been watering the yard. Not so much for the grass but to help the trees recover. This is going to help alot.

Been raining off and on the last week. Only been around 70's. Headed to about 80 next week just perfect for this time of year.
