Hard to believe summer is over. Weather has been in the 70's around here with a little bit of rain 1 day a week. Right now our rivers at the lowest levels they been in over ten years. Ground is so dry the concern even with winter rains there may not be enough run off to bring them back up. We will see.

It has cooled off about ten degrees on average here, but still hot and humid with afternoon showers. I need 70 degree temps and less humidity to paint several panels.

Although it's needed, 3rd day of light rain and mist here...too wet to go shooting as I had planed.

Textbook weather in KC yesterday for the Mid-America Chevelle show though...high mid 70s, blue skies, light breeze. Good turnout too.

Going to be 80 the next few days. We are going to set a record for the most 80 degree days in a year today breaking a 1963 record. The next year was the most snow and rain and is still known for the 64 flood around here. Hope this won't be a repeat of that. Most droughts end with record rain fall.

We got a cool 71 degrees and much needed gentle long term rain today. Soak in the ground and not just run off.

Very hot and humid weekend with plenty of rain. Today was awful, gloomy and rainy all day. Started to clear up around 6:30 PM tonight. Sunday some of the humidity is supposed to lift, and the temperatures will drop accordingly.
