Well, I won't be trying NOT to blow it up... I'm sure I'll bounce it off the rev-limiter more than once over the weekend.

If you do Derek: Have it towed to Car craft! We want you there. Been a while since I've seen you.

Nothing much. Feed the dog tranquilizers because of all the fireworks. Never bothered her until a couple of years ago, she'll be 10 this summer. Now fireworks or thunder and she goes nuts, panting, trembling and trying to hide from it. She's a small black lab, first time she saw a rifle, actually was just a pellet gun, she ran over and sat down next to me. Like, oh boy we're going hunting and she sat there patiently waiting.

Anyway my son is going away this weekend and we don't want to put her in kennel with all the fireworks going off. If the weather holds up we'll go up to my uncle's place in Oscoda next week. Probably wash and wax the Chevelle and go to Baker's on Sunday.

Plan to work on the Beach House putting in a couple of windows in the garage and mow the lawn. Probably will spend half of it down there and the other half working on the house here and some on the car.

I hate hearing you talk about the 'beach house'. We had a cottage that we sold about 7 years ago. It was move or lose my job, then they changed their minds. I really miss the place, made some great friends up there and had a lot fun. Now when a holiday weekend comes along we're lost, don't know what to do because before it was always head up north.

I love that term beach house, really! My mother in law who just passed would really get in to using that term at her bridge club meetings at the Country Club. Not a mean spirited post.

Beach house does have a nice ring to it, sounds so much better than cottage. Ours wasn't really a cottage, 26' x 40' double wide. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths. 6" insulated walls, we used it year around, never shut it down for the winter.
