sr8up, car insurance in Ontario is a case by case basis, depending on many factors... can't give you any figures what it might cost you... you're gonna have to look through the yellow pages and call as many Ins Companies as you can for quotes

Not sure about Grundy's but Hagerty won't insure a daily driver. Here I think you would have to go to a regular insurance company not one that specializes in classic cars.

I do know that in the States, if you have a classic car or historical car plate, then your insurance costs will be different, because you have limitations on driving your car. Now I have a regular plate on my car so that I can drive it anytime. But the downside to that is that the insurance cost a little more.

Here in the US, we have something called the AARP, an association for retired people. I have my classic car insurance through them, as they’re supposed to get better deals with insurance companies for their members.
