71 during the day, 68 or maybe 65 at night, have to look at the thermostat to see what it's set at. Sorry, but I'm going to be comfortable in my own home. Not going to wear sweatshirts, wrap in blankets, etc. I worked too long and hard to buy this home, I want to be comfortable.

70 in the winter & 74 in the summer....this keeps the electric bill less than $300 a month, usually.

My power bill seems to stay the same whether a/c or heat is set low. We were even gone 3 weeks of one month and our bill was about the same .Me thinks they guesstimate how much power we use .

In winter, I keep ours on about 62 during the day...maybe 66. At night, 58 TOPS.
When I used to live "up north", the thermostat rarely saw the top side of 58. Now in the warmer weather down here, the thermostat stays on 76 when we're not home, 70 or 72 when we are home, and 66 or 68 at night. |

I hate when they guesstimate the bills. Then they hit you all at once with a doosey of a bill.
