![]() I actually bought a few more companies over the winter. Both were competitors of mine, fell into financial troubles and I grabbed them up. While it was a great move economically, it has taken every single free minute of my life. I went from being a single person company to having multiple employees. I now have 8 vehicles on the road everyday, and have the ARRA accounts for 5 different counties around me. Getting myself into the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act shuffle has been huge. While it is a paperwork nightmare, it is a financial God send. With the expansion came the need for a shop, so I now have a really nice 8000 square foot shop with nice office space. I even have just enough room left over to keep my chevelle in there . It is so easy to work on it in a wide open, extremely well lit, well equipped shop. I do visit here quite often, from the office, I just try not to log into sites while on the office computer. I don't need any of the guys (or gals) seeing that and thinking its acceptable for all. I have already had to squash some nuts when it came to Facebook on work hours. Jeff

Hey we understand. Gotta set a good example or everyone will spend their days on the web. Really glad to hear that the economy had not taken you under never to be heard from again.
Have you had a chance to take your car out this year ?

The only time my car has seen on the road this year is to move it from the garage to my shop. I can't say as though the incredibly crappy spring weather this year has helped that situation any either.
Really I'm hoping that in another month to two months things will be running very smoothly and I can put in less time than I have to now. I will feel much better leaving the office for a night once I know all my files are correctly in place, the shop is organizied correctly, and just in general things are operating efficiently. I'm actually at the office now yet, its 9:00 pm here. I'm sure I will be here another couple hours yet, then back to it at 6:00 am again. I'm glad I did what I've done, but it is a lot of work trying to integrate all this together under one roof and make it work right. Jeff
