I woke up at 3am last year and went to wallyworld to get a laptop. I didn't get the one I originally wanted because they misplaced them.
 They made it right though. I ended up with an $800 Dell laptop for half price!  I stayed home this time and did a brake job on my truck.

My son went to Home Depot to get a frig for his new house. They had a great deal on one, The only thing is he might get it in February if they can get them in. He didn't buy it.

I wanted to go out and get an electric smoker. But after about 5 minutes of consideration I decided it was warmer, quieter and nicer to stay home. I watched the news and saw the stampede of people in New York, and remembered about 10 years ago when David and I did do the black friday thing.
Waited for hours and hours, only to get into the store and the advertised item we wanted was gone. They only had 5 per store. I think it was then that we decided never again. Heck, even today, Saturday, we ventured out to return something and to get a couple of things at small stores. And all the parking lots were full. No black Friday shopping here.
