It's legal here, usually corn which is pretty much what they eat in southern Michigan anyway or carrots. It was banned for awhile because the DNR said the feed piles were spreading the bovine tuberculous. Guess that's cleared up and I think it's okay now. I wish they wouldn't feed them. Brings them in here and when there is no feed they eat all the bushes, flowers and other plants in the yard. We're overrun with white tail in this area, they bring in sharpshooters to thin the heard in the metro parks because there are just too many of them.

I was at a place near 40 mile and Van Dyke on Thursday that processes deer. And there was a pretty big line. And we passed a few cars heading there as we were driving home. Sure seems like there were a few happy hunters.

Saw Bucket Deer a few minutes ago, actually heard him first. You can hear the bucket banging his antlers. There were 8 does running around him in all different directions.

Looks like they think he's 'HOT', not too many bucks go for the added bling to attract the does.

Next time you see him, I'll bet he has a gold tooth and an earing. Those ladies seem to go for his "bling", so he'll be hittin the pawn shops for more of it.

He may have them already, can't get close enough to tell. I think he has a couple of tats, looked like some of yours. The girls were definitely running around trying to see who could be first.

Last weekend my brother went to pick up his portion or deer. He went in with a buddy who got a nice deer, just wanted a better butcher and cuts, so my brother was happy to do it. Anyway, they had some venison sausage left over and he gave me 3 freezer packs of 8. I can't wait, just don't have time right now.
