I can certainly understand trading your Chevelle for the Camaro, if that’s what you’ve really wanted, I’ve wanted a Chevelle since the late seventies. A year ago I was ready to pull the trigger on a 67 Impala , but it’s good that there was more work to do on that car than I could have done, so I passed. A year later the Chevelle I bought came along at a great price and I had the funds that I otherwise would not have had.

I take it for one reason or another, owning both is not an option. At least you’re not giving up the Chevelle for a Fd, or a Mr.

Good luck on your decision.
Gary

Well, I did it. On Monday I traded in the Chevelle for a 1967 Camaro. It's Marina Blue, 327, TH350, 3.73 posi and deluxe interior. I have some plans to dress it up and replace some worn out pieces but nothing radical. Probably clean the carpet and interior up too.

I would like to say thank you for the help and friendship I found here. I'll still drop in and interject my goofy humor that sometimes needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

It was a beautiful day to drive it home. Both of my boys (6 and 9) wanted to ride home in the cool car with dad and not with mom. LOL. It was nice to put it into drive and just cruise along the way. It drives/rides so nice and smooth compared to the Chevelle. Someone put a lot of work into the car and it shows/feels like it.

Here are some pictures I took at my in-laws place, she is going to stay there for the rest of the winter.

Thaks again,
Mike

Beautiful Camaro, but man, I would have a hard time giving up a big block 4 speed Chevelle for an automatic small block Camaro (although appreciate that car for everything it is).

I know it was what you were wanting all along so congratulations and hope you get to enjoy it this spring/summer!

Nice car. I can't wait to see it in person at some of the cruises this summer. I know you said you will drop into the site from time to time. I hope that you will remember that you are a part of what makes this site great and we want to hear all about your car, and it doesn't matter what kind of car it is. You are always welcome here !

Got to say, she's a nice one! Even though I'm a Chevelle guy, I could see someone selling a Chevelle for this one, especially if this is what you've alway wanted. Have fun with her!

Very nice looking Camaro. You are always welcome around here even if you don't own a Chevelle.

+1 When I first started driving, I went through a few cars. 67' Chevy II, 69' SS 396 Camaro, and a 69' SS 396 Chevelle. I liked the Chevelle the best out of those three.

Looks like she is looking for a new home. Pretty steep asking price.
