Yeah, Nut......most people in Raleigh don't even know that there are two more hours in the state west of Asheville.
I got out in the garage yesterday and worked on the Chevelle some.
Water was froze this am in the house. Had to take the heater to the well house and thaw it out. Man was it cold this morning.
1 degree. Brrrrrrrrrr

Some of us know you are out there, that is beautiful country.

Maybe the Carolina Chevelle Association can make a cruise out that way one weekend.

Stay warm.

Stay warm. Around here we call that a dusting, waking up to 2-3" is not a big deal.

Thanks. I live in a valley with a large lake in the center. Mountains encircle the valley.
Come on out!! I can hook you all up. Spend the night here depending on how many come.
We can go out to Chevelles to eat.

Glad you made it in OK.

1-We just had all ice under a very minor dusting of snow, no traction on the hills so they closed the roads, even though the "main" roads were fine. I had to do a "jailbreak" this morning and moved the barrier myself, See ya

2-People around here don't know how to drive on stuff like this, so they make it worse.

3-No salt spreaders or salt.

In the NE, this would have been a zero issue.

Raleigh was shut down a couple of years ago from a small snow/ice event. Now they brine the roads on the threat of snow. It did help the other day, the back road became icy that were not treated but the main roads were fine.

My driveway...pic taken this morning. Any place that's in the shade still has a coating of snow/ice.

I used to get that stuff in my freezer if someone blocked the door from closing. How does it get on your driveway like that?
