Yeah, I said the same thing about ten years ago when I sold my 69 Camaro which was the only car I owned 15 years. Went the new route 03 Mustang GT, 05 Mustang GT, and then a 09 Challenger R/T. Don't get me wrong they were all nice cars especially the Challenger but I still longed for the old iron. Last year I bought my 71 "Plain Jane Malibu" with a big block, 4 speed, and 12bolt rear. Nothing about this cars drive train is # matching and that's what makes the car even more fun. The one thing about the old cars is that you can really mod them and be different from the others while the new stuff just all seems the same no matter what you do to them.

Part of owning and enjoying these cars is working on them. I got the feeling you didn't care to much to work on them so i think you're better off.

I've gotten to the point in my life where it is getting harder to work on my old cars as lately my back is killing me and the chiropractor cant seem to help me much .By the time I work all day I dont feel like playing with the cars like I used to but Im not getting rid of them .Im hoping after next weekend I can slow down a little and Play with the cars some ,Im laying 800 ft of water line starting friday and hope to be done by saturday .I have been digging holes all over my yard locating utilities so hopefully I dont rip anything out .If things go as planned and the weather cooperates I plan to take the 72 convertible out next sunday cruising .

You know flash, by brother Eric works out of his garage and is always looking to make a few bucks. If you need help, he might be a handy man to call, only problem is that he is about, what, 900 miles from you. lol I know if you were closer, he would definately be there to help.
