Didn't the Dentist give you some pain killers for at home ? If not, find your best anti inflamatory and try to get some rest. Stay away from straws...you don't want a dry socket, those hurt just as bad, if not worse than your tooth ache did.

Hope to hear that you are doing better soon.

Definitely take care not to get a dry socket ,been there done that ,DONT WANT ANOTHER . I have never had pain like that before .Take care of yourself .

I think you can get a dry socket from having a tooth pulled, not a root canal. I took some ibuprofen last night, it was a little sore. Otherwise not bad at all feels pretty good this morning.
