That corner has always had prices a lot lower than Brighton. Wonder if it's because of the Kroger fuel station a few miles away.

Gas around my neck of the woods is around $3.16 - $3.18 We shop at kroger all the time and use the fuel points to save on gas and another way to rack up the fuel points real quick is to buy the gift cards there. If we are working on a project we'll buy lowes gift cards or places we eat at regularly. We've had enough fuel points to get a $1.00 off up to 35 Gallons of fuel.

I was going to say the same thing about the gift cards. If you go to Taco Bell, McDonalds, or other restaurants regularly, buy a gift card at Kroger. You get double the points on gift cards, except Kroger cards, and they add up. Sometimes they do 4x's the points on gift cards, especially close to holidays. If we are going to Sears, K-Mart, Lowes, Target, Amazon, and many other places, we buy gift cards. Especially if you buy things on-line, it helps to prevent anyone access to your banking account. They even sell Paypal and Ebay gift cards. Last year, in December we had over 4,000 points with all the gift cards. I gave my brother access so that he could fill up his big vehicle and save $1.00 a gallon.

Can you tell, I use the Kroger gas stations alot. lol

$3.09/gallon yesterday... wow a whole penny cheaper than Friday. I remember after Katrina it shot up to $3.05/gallon and people about lost their minds.

I think a hump day camel farted somewhere in the middle east. Prices here shot up to over $3.40 a gallon overnight. I guess a breeze must have dissipated the odor, now it's back down to $3.19?
